Bitcoin Core Help

Recently I setup a ColdCard hardware wallet, I followed the steps to make a watch only wallet in Bitcoin Core. I sent it a test transaction and received it as expected. The correct balance shows up in the "Overview" tab and the test transaction shows up in both in the "Recent Transactions" and the "Transactions" tab.
Now I'm trying to send a test transaction from the new wallet to one of my old ones, but the problem is that when I go to the "Send" tab, it says I have a zero balance and there is nothing listed on the "Inputs" list of coin control features.
I'm really struggling to figure out why in one place Bitcoin Core says I have a positive balance and in another it says I'm at zero.
Any help is appreciated!

Bitcoin core help

I glossed over the faq and didn't see, but I transferred my coins to bitcoin core desktop app. Yesterday i spent at work 9 hours having it update the blocks. Went from 7 years down to 1 year 30 weeks. I close it and go home. I come back today to finish off the remaining 1 year 30 weeks and it starts all over.
My question is, do I have to let this run continuously to update? I sorta thought the file would download and pick up where it left off. Also 18+ hour download is brutal.
Thanks for any help you guys can provide

Bitcoin Core Help =)

Hello Reddit!
To start things off I am new at this so bear with me...
I have bought coins through LocalBitCoins and sent them to my wallet (with 24 confirmations).
I am currently on Bitcoin Core with 2 years and 23 weeks behind Synchronizing. I heard you were able to send Bitcoins without actually being Synchronizing but whenever I try to send my funds elsewhere I get a "Insufficient funds exceeded" box. I go back to overview to see that my Bitcoins have not been transferred to my Bitcoin Core wallet yet probably prompting the insufficient funds.
I know waiting to finish Synchronizing is the better solution but I thought I was able to send the coins without being synchronized?

[Help] Bitcoin Core help! Random BTC in my wallet?

So I just found my password for my bitcoin core wallet, I lost it about 2.5 years ago, I decided to boot up my old laptop and I checked my Bitcoin Core client(wich is on my old laptop) it wasnt synced for 3 years. When I started syncing it said 1.68 btc unconfirmed. I was confused as I remember that the most BTC I left on the machine was like 0.00001 btc. So I started syncing my wallet...3hours in the sync ( still 2.5 years behind) it says 0.8btc saldo and ANOTHER 1.68 unconfirmed. I just tried to send the 0.8 BTC to my bitcoin blockchain wallet and it succesfully sent. However I have not received it yet in my blockchain wallet.
I am so confused... How does my bitcoin core client randomly have bitcoins?
Will it actually send me the 0.8 btc once it finishes the sync?
I'm currently still syncing the bitcoin core client and its still 2 years 11 weeks behind.
Did I just find free money or is this some kind of bug? I am so fucking confused.

The original post's content was as follows:
Hi guys, I have been using bitcoin for 1 year now. Not only for saving, but also for sending money across borders, and buying products and services through places like Steam and NewEgg, etc.
If you use bitcoin like me, I'm sure you've noticed the degradation of the experience as more and more users have joined the network.
I've been trying to buy a harddrive from newegg and both times bitpay expired because the transaction took too long. Fees are wayy up too.
What is in bitcoin core's roadmap that will address this?
What keeps you believing that bitcoin core will be the mainstream crypto?
I want BTC to succeed, but the more I learn about alts, the less I feel its going to.

Avira Antivirus screwed up my Bitcoin Core... Help!

So, I opened up Bitcoin core to sync it up, and I just recently installed Avira. Avira instantly popped up with real time protection with the error: Virus or unwanted program 'W32/Magistr.B3 [virus]' detected in file 'C:\Users\ilars_000\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin\chainstate\606948.ldb. Action performed: Transfer to Scanner
After this happened, Bitcoin core crashed. I told Avira to ignore that directory, but now I open Bitcoin core, and all I get is that it is 2 days behind, and there is "No block source available..." There is nothing from that directory in quarantine. Is there any way to fix this?
Yes, this is on Windows 10.
